Filmmaker, editor and colorist from Khakassia.
I came to film from programming. I studied computer science and worked as a programmer, but I have always thought more like an artist than an engineer. That pull towards images and stories is what eventually led me away from code and into filmmaking.
For several years I worked in theatre as its photographer and videographer. I shot premieres and rehearsals, cut trailers, recorded podcasts with the company and produced its social content, often several pieces a week. Theatre taught me to work with light, live performance and tight deadlines.
Today I make commercials, music videos and brand films, from the first idea through the shoot, the edit and the final grade. I also grade footage for other filmmakers. In my work I pay most attention to rhythm, camera movement with a reason behind it, and colour that supports the story.
I am open to new projects and to creative challenges of any scale, especially the ones that ask for something I have not done before.
